Tall tree to 25m high with long straight bole and flushed base; bark grey, smooth, slash pale brown, soft in texture axudes a milky latex. Leaves variable in size and indumentum. Sometimes pale green on underindumentum, others from topmost branches with golden brown or red-brown indumentum. Calyx grey-green, petals cream, filaments cream, anthers brown, style green.
