Epiphytic or lithophytic herb.Rhizome 1–2 mm in diameter, woody, creeping.Pseudobulbs 1–6 cm apart on the rhizome, 2-leaved, 1–5 × 0.5–1.5 cm, narrowly ovoid or ellipsoid, usually somewhat 4-angled, pale green or yellow.Leaves 2–6(11) × 1–1.5 cm, linear-lanceolate to elliptic, suberect, coriaceous, pale green.Inflorescence erect, 10- to many-flowered; peduncle 2.5–10 cm long; rhachis slightly enlarged and flattened, the flowers borne in channels on opposite sides.Flowers yellow-green to orange, the lip orange to vermilion.Ovary and pedicel c. 1.5 mm long.Bracts scarious, 2.5–6 mm long, ovate, acute, spreading or recurved, partly enclosing the flower.Dorsal sepal 2.5–5 × 1–2 mm, ovate, acute; lateral sepals 2.5–6 mm × 1.5–2.5 mm, obliquely ovate, acute.Petals 1.5–4 mm long, less than 0.5 mm wide, linear.Lip 1–3 × 0.5–1.5 mm, fleshy, entire, glabrous, channelled at the base, without lateral lobes.Column 0.6–1.4 mm long, including deltoid stelidia c. 0.3 mm long; anther with slightly concave rounded protrusions near the top overtopping the front margin.Pollinia4, ellipsoid, the larger about twice as long as the smaller.
