Notes
Leaves usually produced at flowering time; petioles mostly 10–15 mm. long; lamina glaucous, broadly ovate-elliptic to obovate, 4.5–7 cm. long, 2–6 cm. wide, flat to somewhat undulate and sinuate. Calyx cupular, 2–2.5 mm. long, longer than receptacle. Corolla-lobes expanded at very base and again ± 5–6 mm. above where the filaments are inserted; mature corolla-buds thus with swellings above and below the vents, the lips of which are recurved and bright yellow. Less conspicuous and often more difficult to collect than subsp. commiphorae .
