Common names
Crassula sessilicymula Mogg in Bothalia 3: 273, 277 (1937). Type: Transvaal, Klipdrif near Hammanskraal, Mogg 12503 (PRE, nolo.!).
Habitat
As already indicated earlier (Tolken, 1977) this taxon is different and occupies a different habitat from the nearby subsp. nodulosa even though C. enantio­phylla is now included in the latter subspecies. Subsp. sessilicymula is distinguished by its inflorescences which are usually branched from the base, the lanceolate leaves, the cauline leaves which are about three times longer than broad, and the more or less emarginate squamae.
