Information
Densely tufted, up to 40 cm high. Panicle oblong, 4–7.5 cm long, the spikelets densely crowded; pedicels 2–6.5 mm long, villous. Spikelets 6- to 13-flowered, 11–14 mm long, wedge-shaped; glumes unequal, oblong-linear, the lower 1.6–2.1 mm long, the upper 3.3–4.5 mm long; lowest lemma lanceolate, 3.8–4.9 mm long, acute, the upper lemmas progressively narrower, becoming setaceously acuminate and up to 6.8 mm long.
