Information
Erect herb, up to c. 30 cm tall. Leaves linear, 50–150 x 1–3 mm. Flowers few to many or solitary; pedicels 7–32 mm long, erect. Tepals 4–7 x 0.5–0.7 mm, dark brown to greenish yellow. Stamens 2.5–3.5 mm long; anthers c. 0.5 mm long. Styles 3, 0.6–1 mm long, recurved. Capsule obovoid to oblong, 8–20 mm long. Seeds ovoid, c. 2 x 1.5 mm.
Range
N1 widespread in tropical Africa.
Altitude range
c. 1450 m.
