Information
Plants erect, richly branched, up to 40 cm high, densely pubescent. Leaves caducous, sessile; blades obovate, 1–2 x 1 mm. Inflorescences sessile, 3–10-flowered; pedicels c. 0.5 mm long. Corolla cup-shaped, c. 1.5 mm long, purplish, glabrous; lobes oblong. Corona cup-shaped, white, c. 0.9–1 mm long, exceeding the gynostegium and partly obscuring it, tube more than 3/4 of corona length; staminal lobes ovate, 2-fid with rounded apices, interstaminal lobes rectangular, emarginate. Gynostegium c. 0.5 x 0.8 mm, on top of c. 0.3 mm long stipe; anther wings c. 0.35 mm long, extending along the whole length of the anther; connective appendages c. 0.15 x 0.12 mm, triangular, narrower than the anthers; stigmatic head ca. 0.4 x 0.5 mm, tabular. Follicles c. 13–18 x 2.5 mm, pubescent.
