Information
Evergreen shrub or bushy tree 2–3 m tall; young stems covered with short velvety hairs. Leaf-blades narrowly elliptic, up to 9´2.4 cm, acute at apex, attenuate at base so that change to petiole not clear, recurved at margins, leathery, with scattered short hairs above and whitish finely velvety pubescence beneath; bacterial nodules dark above; lateral nerves in 7–9 main pairs; stipule limbs 1–1.5 mm long, triangular-truncate, with c. 1–4 mm long tip. Inflorescences 20–50-flowered, corymbose, 3.2–5.7 cm across, excluding corollas; primary branches 5–20 mm long, pubescent; secondary and sometimes tertiary branches present; pedicels 1.75–3 mm long, pubescent. Calyx-limb c. 1 mm long, divided to the middle into triangular lobes, pubescent. Corolla-tube 12–14 mm long; lobes 6´1.25 mm. Fruit c. 6 mm in diam.
