Information
Cushion-forming dwarf shrub or subshrub, up to 30 cm tall. Leaves ± obovate, 3–7 x 1.5–4 mm, narrowing below into a petiole-like base, covered with appressed hairs up to c. 1 mm long. Flowers pale yellow to white, solitary in the leaf-axils. Calyx-lobes 1.2–3 mm long. Corolla-tube 1.5–2.5 mm long, with 4 thin thickenings 0.5–1 mm from the base inside, pubescent in upper part outside; lobes c. 1.2 mm long, entire, pubescent outside. Style 2–3 mm long, pubescent at least in lower part or glabrous; stigma lobes 0.25–0.5 mm long. Capsule 1-seeded, 2–3 x 3–4 mm; dissepiment c. 2–2.4 x 0.6–1 mm, with a c. 0.4 mm long placenta; seed c. 2 mm long.
