Information
Tuber subglobose to flattened or elongated with 2–3 swellings. Leaf-blades cordate-reniform, somewhat angled, 30–105 x 40–120 mm, dull green with a marked silvery pattern above, purple beneath, with fairly coarsely dentate margins; petiole 35–70 mm long. Flowers appearing with the leaves, not held high above foliage; pedicels 70–125 mm long, at first erect or ascending, elongating and curved downwards as the fruit matures, but not coiling. Calyx 6–8 mm long; lobes ovate-oblong with hyalins margins. Corolla ± pale pink suffused with carmine around mouth; tube c. 4 mm long; lobes c. 15–17 x 5–7 mm, somewhat twisted, and without auricles at the base. Anthers c. 4 mm long. Style c. 3.5 mm long.
