Information
Shrub, 1–2 m tall. Leaf-rhachis up to 2.5 cm long. Leaflets 7–13, elliptic-oblong, to 5 x 3 mm, midvein sparsely pubescent and often purplish-black beneath. Racemes 1(–3)-flowered; rhachis 3–12 mm long. Calyx c. 5 mm long, subglabrous except for lobes; lower lobe 1.5–3 mm long. Corolla blue or violet; blade of standard c. 9 x 11 mm, cordate at the base, glabrous. Ovary c. 4-ovulate; style 5–8 mm long. Pod glabrous, 1–4-articulate with articles c. 10–13 x 7–9 mm, reticulate.
