Information
Small tree or shrub; young branchlets glabrous or almost so. Leaves from spirally and rather closely arranged cushions; petiole 1–5 mm long; pinnae 1 pair; leaflets 4–8 pairs, oblong, 2–6 x 1–2.5 mm, obtuse at the apex, glabrous above, appressed puberulous to glabrous beneath; venation fairly prominent beneath, with midrib running close to upper margin. Heads on 15–25 mm long peduncles. Flowers ?cream; staminal tube about as long as the corolla. Pod oblong, flat, with sinuate margin, 6.5–9(–12) x 2–2.5 cm, densely puberulous, inconspicuously veined, purplish brown, apparently indehiscent. Seeds c. 9 mm long, with a very small, transversely elliptic areole.

C1; S2 not known elsewhere.

50–275 m.

Notes
Bilcil, lebi (Som.). This is a very distinct endemic of uncertain affinity. Good flowering material is still wanting.
