Information
Robust ornamental shrub 2–4 m high; branches stout, softly woody, with pronounced leaf-scars; leaves to 20 x 12 cm; cymes with numerous brilliant red leaf-like bracts; cyathia 8 mm in diam.; gland with an elliptic opening 5 mm wide, yellow-rimmed.
Range
Cultivated at least in S2 (Mogadishu and Afgooye) native of Central America.
