Description
Fairchild is sending under separate cover a small sample of Iris missouriensis collected at Pullman, Washington, which they thought might be of interest. A short description of the plant is given. Its locality is given as South Dakota and Montana to Arizona. It is not common in cultivation and a reference to THE GARDEN, 50:1082 is given. Fairchild signs himself Agricultural Explorer in Charge of Foreign Explorations. Page 1 of 2.
