As Dr Gray may have informed Hooker of Parry's intended visit to England and the continent, Parry writes to inform Hooker that he and his wife have arrived safely. Parry is staying with his relatives at the above address and would be obliged if Hooker could forward any letters to him. He hopes to meet Hooker personally and spend considerable time at the herbarium and garden at RBG Kew. He has with him a small parcel of plants of recent collection to deposit in the Herbarium. He visited Gray a few weeks ago, who intimated that there was a probability of Hooker going to America this season; Parry hopes Hooker will inform him of his possible movements.
