Description
Waby has received a request from Mr Hemsley about a catalogue of the flowering plants of British Guiana [Guyana], supposedly compiled by the late Mr Jenman. Waby consulted Mr Ward, the Executor of Mr Jenman's estate, who has no knowledge of any such catalogue. The search of the papers of the herbarium in the gardens has revealed nothing: there seems to be nothing but the various lists of determinations sent to RBG Kew from time to time. If further searches bring forth such a list, Waby will acquaint Thiselton-Dyer of it, but feels it is unlikely such a large packet has been overlooked thus far. Page 1 of 3.
