Description
Watson has just returned from Uruguay and has some fifty dried grasses and a small collection of the seeds of wild flowers of the country. He would like to give these to RBG Kew. He is returning to Uruguay on 23 Oct and would like to know who to send the seeds to at Kew. He provides his address as care of John Lovegood Watson at Rosehill, Abbots Langley. Page one contains notes in various hands initialled 'W.W' [William Watson],'D.M.' [Daniel Morris] and 'J.G.B' [John Gilbert Baker], recording that the seeds and grasses were finally received on 24 Dec 1890. Pages 1 and 2 of 3.
