Utricularia spp.; featuring U. arenaria A.DC., U. pubescens Sm., U. subulata L. and U. micropetala Sm. var. micropetala; original illustration from FWTA. U. arenaria is an erect delicate herb recorded from Senegal, Mali, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Northern Nigeria, and the British Cameroons (Cameroon); U. pubescens is an erect terrestrial herb recorded from Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Nigeria (Northern and Southern), and the British Cameroons (Cameroon); U. subulata has been recorded from Senegal, Mali, Portuguese Guinea (Guinea Bissau), Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana and Nigeria (Northern and Southern); U. micropetala var. micropetala has been recorded from Guinea and Sierra Leone (Hutchinson & Dalziel, 1954).
