Description

This is the third of three pages of the minutes of the Council of the British Association. It contains the list of attendees, including Dr. Sclater of the Zoological Society of London. Of particular interest is paragraph 10 [highlighted in red pencil] which mentions a request from the general committee to commit £100 towards the 'complete exploration of the snowy Mountain District of Eastern Equatorial Africa'. A copy of this request is mentioned to have been sent to the Council of the Royal Geographical Society and asks also for their views on the subject. Page 4 of 4.
