Description
Lady Kirk has received from Kew a box with a rhinoceros horn and other articles. In this letter to Thiselton- Dyer she expresses her surprise concerning the fact that these specimens had taken such a long time to arrive. She says that the box and the rhinoceros horn arrived the day before and that the box contained the following: 'iron wire and bangles and a fine piece of malachite'. She also says that the items had been packed in 1859. Page one of two.
