Description
Wood sends eight bulbs of Cyrtanthus sanguineus originally from the Cape Colony. He explains it is better than the ordinary form of the plant they have had and describes it. He writes about a query he has due to an entry in the 'Botanical Magazine' concerning Senecio (Kleinia) galpinii, he suggests a specimen of his identified at Kew as N. grandiflora may in fact be S. fulgens.
