Description
MacOwan mentions sending a parcel containing ferns which he would be pleased to have identified. He believes the specimens to include ‘Natal nephislepsis’ and ‘ancimia’. He also includes a specimen of a Namaqualand Stapelia and a Kniphofia. MacOwan encloses some pamphlets and writes that his own paper on Cape food plants should have been dispatched. He thanks Dyer for sending the ‘Bulletin’ and will send on the Solanaceae seed to their expert. Page 1 of 2.
