Description
McKen thanks Hooker for the list of ferns. He states that Mr Buckaman and he will prepare a set of plants they consider uncertain about. He informs that he will send Aspidium aculeatum, Asplenium sandersonii and A. brachypteron. He apologises for not being able to secure an Encephalartoi for Hooker. He states that the two cases that were incorrectly sent to Ceylon are still there. He also states that they long for a greenhouse for the ‘…production of tender plants and for propagating others…’.
