Description
The handwriting in this letter is very difficult to decipher but the description is as follows. Horne mentions that there is only one ‘Alstonia scholaris in the garden and it only flowered this year’. He also writes about ‘Milachia umlillata [?]’, Dombeya viburniflora, Centrosema pubescens, Triumfetta pilosa, Platycerium alcicorne and Pandanus vandermeeschii. Pages 1 and 4 of 8.
