Letter mentioning Stockdale’s budget, his demonstration plots and machinery for fibre, imported by the Government. He requests regular subscription to Kew Bulletin, and reports on the improved activities in Réduit Gardens in Mauritius, especially experiments with sugar-cane, maize, ground-nuts and rice. He will send copies of publications resulting from his work, and is making notes on Cassara [?] and Juniper diseases.
