Description
Richardson is a member of a team travelling out to work in the tin fields of the Buachi Highlands in Northern Nigeria. He wishes to ask about introducing European food plants into that region. Richardson believes the rainfall is between 40-50 inches. He asks for the names of vegetable, fruit plants and bushed that might thrive out there. There is no qualified botanist on this trip so Richardson asks if instructions on how to transport the seeds can be included in the reply. Richardson offers his services as a collector to Kew.
