COLLECTION OF TH. HAENKE. Compositae from the famous collection of Th. Haenke were sent by Caspar Count/Earl of Sternberg to A.P. de Condolle for determination and to be exploited in DC's Prodromus Vol. 5 & 6, 1836 & 1837. After being returned to Prague, one part of this material was purchased from the estate of K. Presl for the Prague University herbarium (PRC). The second main part is preserved in herb. PR; a minor part (often only fragments) is in G-DC.
