Notes
Much disturbed primary forest to 25 m high along margin of ladang. Thin layer of humus and laterite on conglomerate cemented by sandstone. Terrain sloping. Solitary tree 15 m high. Flowers ochrish brown outside, in cream-coloured tinged pink, androecium bright dark red. Clear bole 12 cm dbh, without buttresses. Plants of Celebes, Indonesia. Indonesian - Dutch Expedition sponsored by WOTRO.
