Notes
This part of n.2067 has been mixed into C. pycnostachya or taken for it by Turczaninow, Treviranus and Ledebour. The present plant, with very strongly nerved utricle, I think differs specifically. ... I do not see that the present C. pycnostachya differs from C. divisa, Hudson, except that the ripe utricle is much smaller and very membranous. Songoriae collibus apricis nec non in subalpinis humidis Alatau ad flum. Sarchan Karelin et Kirilov n.2067 contains a mixture of two things as Boott has pointed out. One is the true C. curaica, Kunth, a smaller plant than this with a nearly nerveless utricle. This part of n.2067 has been mixed into C. pycnostachya or taken for it by Turczaninow, Treviranus and Ledebour. The present plant, with very strongly nerved utricle, I think differs specifically. Boott has put with his C. coacta, which is rather (mihi) C. divisa, Hudson. I do not see that the present C. pycnostachya differs from C. divisa, Hudson, except that the ripe utricle is much smaller and very membranous.; Laid in from herb. Boott
