Biography
Swiss doctor and botanist. Roemer's herbarium was purchased by BM with the herbarium of R.J. Shuttleworth in 1877, including many types. Specimens are from many countries and some was undoubtedly sent to Roemer by other botanists. Original material from Roemer is also at Z, but original material at LZ was destroyed by bombing during the Second World War.
