Biography
British bank clerk and naturalist from Bowdon, Cheshire whose scientific interests included bryology and malacology. His moss collection is mainly at BM with over 1,000 specimens contributed from Societe Jersiai (1965) and further material acquired with the herbarium of R. Braithwaite whose Sphagnaceae Britannieae Exsiccatae included material from Hunt. Andreaea huntii Limpr. was named in his honour.
