Biography
Italian cryptogamist from Bormio who was Professor at the Catholic Seminar in Como. Anzi also included material of other collectors in his exsiccatae, particularly A.B. Massalongo. Many specimens and sets of lichen exsiccatae were purchased by BM (1871-1875) comprising over a thousand specimens. Additional lichens were probably transferred from K to BM under the terms of the Morton Agreement (c. 1961).
