Biography
British botanist who specialised in plants of Yorkshire. Approximately two-thirds of his herbarium, comprising some 5,000 British plants, was donated to BM in 1935; the remainder was donated to HDD in 1937. Not to be confused with his grandfather Thomas J. Foggitt whose botanical collections are also in part at BM.
