Biography
Scottish architect and Baptist missionary at Victoria, Cameroon. Not to be confused with Gideon Thomson (fl. 1847) who collected earlier in India and Singapore. Lichen material at BM was probably transferred from K (c. 1961) under the terms of the Morton Agreement.
