Biography
Cornell-educated entomologist Beatrice Tothill (née Hughes) was the wife of agricultural director John D. Tothill. Together they lived in Fiji, Uganda and the Sudan, following John Tothill's government postings. With J.G. Needham and S.W. Frost, Beatrice Tothill published Leaf-mining insects in 1928.
