French collector from Sarralbe, Moselle, who made phanerogam collections from Morocco and Algeria. Named in his honour are Astragalus warionis Gand. (Astragalus peregrinus Vahl subsp. warionis (Gand.) Maire), Avellinia warionis Sennen & Mauricio (= Avellinia michelii (Savi) Parl.) and Linaria warionis Pomel.
