Biography
British Consul at Archangel (1832), in the Azores (1839-1848) and Bordeaux (1866). He collected plant material during his stay in the Azores which was widely distributed through the Botanical Society of London. Material at BM was also acquired through the private herbarium of J. Miers (1887). Ammi huntii H.C. Watson was named in honour of T.C. Hunt.
