Biography
British entomologist from Rugby, Warwickshire who was employed by the New Zealand Department of Agriculture (1919-1924), later returning to England to the Imperial Institute of Entomology (1926). He travelled to the West Indies and South America after joining the Imperial College of Tropical Agriculture in Trinidad (1934) and to Africa as Economic botanist to the Government of Anglo-Egyptian Sudan (1937-).
