Biography
British botanist, the youngest son of Dr Harold Meredith Richards (1864-1942) of Walton-on-the-hill, Surrey. His elder brother was the entomologist Owain Westmacott Richards. Original cryptogamic material from the Oxford Expedition to Sarawak, deposited at K, was transferred to BM (c. 1961) under the terms of the Morton Agreement.
