Stems to 30 cm long, erect to spreading. Leaves erect, distichous to subrosulate, crowded at the stem apices and c. 5 mm apart, to c. 25 × 0.5–1.5 cm. Inflorescence erect.
Habitat
In peaty soils on rocks out of reach of fire
Range
Known with certainty only from the Nyanga mountain region. A report of its occurrence from the Chimanimani Mts. at Gossamer Falls in Mozambique (Kimberley in Cact. & Succ. J. (USA) 62: 225 (1990)) needs verification
