Epiphytic herb.Stem erect or pendent, slender, up to c. 35 cm long, usually branched, rooting at the base.Roots c. 3 mm in diameter.Leaves borne towards the stem apex, 1.5–9 cm × 1–2 mm, terete, needle-shaped, sometimes slightly recurved.Inflorescences arising along the stem from same nodes in successive years, up to 10 mm long, 1–6-flowered.Pedicel and ovary 3–5 mm long; bracts very short.Flowers translucent, light brown or greenish-brown, the lip creamy-white, the column green-brown and anther cap yellow.Sepals 1.5–2.7 × 1.5–2 mm, ovate, obtuse; the lateral sepals connate at the base and slightly oblique.Petals 1.7–2.3 × 0.4–0.6 mm, linear or narrowly lanceolate, acute.Lip 4–5 mm long with a basal concave claw and a 2-lobed, apical lamina c. 3 × 3.5–5 mm; spur 4–9 mm long, narrowly conical, obtuse.Column 0.6–1.2 mm long.
