Information
Leaves ovate-oblong or ovate. Inflorescence-branches and epicalyx lacking the scattered dark-brown stellate hairs of var. agnosta. Sepals and petals from 1–1·5 cm. long.
Habitat
Open woodland, often occurring in the same areas as M. forbesii but also occurring at higher altitudes in Brachystegia woodland.
