Information
Trailing annual. Culms 10–30 cm. high, the base decumbent, rooting at the nodes and forming mats. Leaf laminae 1–3 cm. long, narrowly lanceolate. Inflorescence 2–8 cm. long, the racemes 3–12 mm. long, spreading or eventually reflexed. Spikelets 1.7–2.3 mm. long, gaping. Inferior lemma as long as spikelet, hairy only on base and margins. Superior lemma 1/2 as long, densely and minutely pubescent all over.
