Information
Rhizome up to 4 mm. in diam., erect, with tufted fronds and with dark-brown entire clathrate lanceolate attenuate rhizome-scales 2.5 mm. long. Frond erect, not proliferous, firmly membranous. Stipe matt-brown or greenish-brown, 19 cm. long, sparsely covered at first with minute hair-like scales, glabrous at maturity. Lamina up to 32 x 13 cm., pinnate, narrowly oblong-acuminate in outline with lowest pinnae not markedly reduced. Pinnae 1.9–6.3 x 0.5–1.2 cm., 12–20 pairs, narrowly to very narrowly oblong, obtuse to attenuate, unequally cuneate at the base, crenate or doubly crenate, shortly petiolate; apical segment attenuate-crenate, glabrous on both surfaces. Rhachis pale-brown, narrowly winged on the upper part of the lamina. Sori up to 5 mm. long, linear (to oblong in small fronds), set at an angle of about 45º to the costa; indusium linear to oblong, membranous, entire.
