Information
Rhizome creeping, with spaced fronds and with metallic grey-brown lanceolate acuminate rhizome-scales up to 4 mm. long. Frond pinnatifid, stipitate, sub-coriaceous to coriaceous. Stipe light-brown to black, up to 6 cm. long, very narrowly winged. Lamina up to 21 x 1 cm., linear in outline, glabrous on both sides, decrescent below, pinnatifid to the midrib into rounded oblong to quadrate lobes up to 6 mm. long; midrib black, veins usually obscure. Sori 1–6 per lobe, intramarginal, set with castaneous hair-like paraphyses.
Habitat
Epiphytic in montane, forest or lithophytic on shaded rock faces
Altitude range
at altitudes between 2200 m. and 2350 m.
