Information
Leaves narrowly elliptic, 10–25 x 2–7 mm., margins not markedly revolute. Phyllaries coriaceous, rounded to obtuse mucronate. Otherwise similar to subsp. bainesii.
Habitat
Grassland, on granite sands or serpentine soils. Also in Brachystegia speciformis woodland. Usually occurring in somewhat lower rainfall areas than subsp. bainesii.
Range
Not known outside Zimbabwe
