Distribution
Zimbabwe S Sabi R., west bank, fl. & fr. 29.i.1948, Wild 2430 (K; SRGH).Zimbabwe E Umtali, Mt. Sheni, fl. & fr. 5.iv.1950, Chase 1985 (K; SRGH).Zimbabwe C Salisbury, fl. & fr. 10.i.1948, Wild 2279 (K; SRGH).Mozambique M Magude, fl. & fr. 30.xi.1944, Mendonça 3187 (BM; LISC).Zimbabwe N Mtoko, fl. & fr. 28.i.1949, Hopkins in GHS 7891 (K; SRGH). W. Matopos, fl. & fr. 3.xi.1930, Hill (K; SRGH).
Distribution (external)
Transvaal
Notes
Arwidsson (loc. cit.) included these two varieties under his new combination Tetratelia tenuifolia. C. macrophylla, however, is not really related to C. maculata, the only true Tetratelia in its restricted sense, for, although some anthers in the former species may be smaller than the others, they are never sterile and there is no clavate swelling of the filament. It is probably more nearly related to C. ciliata.
