Type: Mozambique, Lourenço Marques, Matola, Quintas 101 (COI, holotype). Ammannia intermedia Koehne Fernandes & Diniz [family LYTHRACEAE], in Garcia de Orta 4, 3: 406 (1956). Type as above.
Habitat
In swamps, seasonal dambos, moist sandy soils, moist grassy plains, marshy ground along rivers and river-beds.
