Information
A tree, up to 80 ft., with large straight bole, up to 10 ft. in girth, and rounded crown; bark of twigs pale grey, of bole thick, brown, fissured; spines white; leaves glaucous green; leafless during rainy season; flowers cream, becoming yellow; fruit orange when mature.
Range
Extends throughout the drier parts of N. Africa into Egypt; also in eastern Africa southwards to the Transvaal
