Information
Tree 9–15 m. high; branchlets obscurely 4-winged. Leaf-lamina elliptic, 9–15.5(–19) cm. long, 3–7(–9) cm. wide; 8–9 pairs of transverse lateral nerves ± prominent beneath and forming loops with the 2 basal lateral nerves from about midway to the apex; petiole 2–3 mm. long. Inflorescence ± 12-flowered, axillary, on the older wood; peduncle (with rhachis) ± 20(–45) mm. long, forked; pedicels 4–5 mm. long. Calyx obconical, ± 2 mm. long, 1.2 mm. in diameter; lobes triangular-ovate, ± 1 mm. long. Petals obovate, 1.5–2 mm. long, 2 mm. wide, bluish-pink. Anthers 1 mm. long; filaments not developed. Fruit globose, 9–10 mm. in diameter.
